Short distances, great benefits
As a company in the Black Forest, we feel the value of nature every day. Short supply routes allow us to save costs directly and reduce our impact on the environment. This also makes our communication with suppliers fast, saves valuable time and enables us to respond to new developments and changing requirements promptly and accurately.
Traditionally economical
Saving is in our blood and we protect our environment directly as a result. We have always used resources sparingly and heat our company using geothermal heat pumps. We obtain the energy for our hot water from solar collectors, and the photovoltaic system on our roof generates around 300 MWh of electrical energy from the sun every year. In this way, we show that we can also be sustainably successful as an industrial company. Economically and ecologically.
Durable and recyclable
We deliberately manufacture our machines and drill rigs mainly from steel and aluminum. We only use plastics where they are indispensable, and we avoid composite materials wherever possible. This choice of materials contributes significantly to the fact that WEKA products are extremely durable and therefore conserve resources. Used machines can be completely dismantled and the materials separated. As a result, this means that if a WEKA does have to be discarded one day, it is over 90% recyclable.
